A captain’s architectural “daughter” the church of Agia Matrona offers the whole Aegean on the plate, while on October 20 it celebrates its own festival in local sounds. The joy – the most strengthening vitamin for the heart – follows the next morning the carrying of the St. Matrona’s icon in the carved alleys with rosemary sprigs to fill the smell of the air.
The architecture of the past untouched – with its cute courtyards, countless steps and interesting facades makes a window for the eye to travel.
